In our personal friendship groups we can choose who we spend time with but what about in our professional lives?
Who are you?
Our cultural self helps to define our identity.
Who I am is influenced by my upbringing, my family, life experiences, education, relationships, work experiences, trauma, tragedy, successes and failures.
Where is your focus?
Be an active consumer of your workplace.
Walk around, have conversations, feel the vibe.
Are you listening?
It’s what happens AFTER the learning that makes the difference.
There is so much good information around at the moment but it’s only useful if you listen and apply it.
Respectful Teams - luck or effort?
We are not workplace clones without personalities or peculiarities, we are individuals, who, if we work together, have the capacity to create great teams.
